BlueGum Design create landscape plans for Developer's approval (Design review panels), Council Development Application Approvals (DA Application) and Complying Development Certificates (CDC). We cover residential, commercial and industrial developments all over Australia. Our landscape plans will cover all the design requirements to ensure approval through the relevant governing body. With an intimate understanding of current guidelines and requirements, we can create a landscape plan for you for a fixed price of $395. We also offer the most competitive prices for dual occupancy, commercial and industrial developments. Just ask us for a quote or simply send us a quote that you want us to beat!
OUR PRICE GUARANTEE
Standard residential dwelling - $395 fixed price. Standard dwellings include any single or double story house on a standard block (300m2 to1000m2), on vacant land. Most knockdown rebuild developments also fit into this category. Your landscape plan will include everything that is required to satisfy developer, CDC or council requirements. This is our most popular service as most of our customers are building in new development areas and require a landscape plan to meet council and/or developer design guidelines.
For dual occupancy residential dwellings including knockdown rebuild's, commercial or industrial developments, contact us for a competitive quote. Alternatively, if you have a legitimate quote from another company, send it through and we'll beat it.
LANDSCAPE PLANS FOR DEVELOPER APPROVAL (DESIGN REVIEW PANEL/COMMITTEE)
If you're building in a new residential development, you may be required to submit a landscape concept plan to your developer for approval by the design review panel before being able to proceed with your development application. Each developer will have different design guidelines, requirements and restrictions which all new homes must adhere to. Your landscape plan may need to illustrate some or more of the following information:
-
Planting Schedule (Botanical and common names of plants)
-
Driveway materials and colour
-
Treatment to all ground areas
-
Side gate set backs
-
Location of bin store
-
Fencing treatment to all boundaries
-
Percentage of native plants and trees
-
General plant placing
-
Proposed soft and hard landscaping elements and materials
LANDSCAPE PLANS FOR COUNCIL APPROVAL
If you're planning on a knock-down rebuild or building in a new residential development, you may be required to submit a landscape plan to your local council with your development application (DA) Generally, your local Council wants to see an appropriately scaled drawing which shows the proposed layout of suggested landscape works, as well as your design intent and ideas. Your landscape plan may need to illustrate some or more of the following information:
-
Proposed soft and hard landscaping elements and materials
-
Planting schedule
-
Total landscape area as a percentage
-
North point and scale
-
Existing and proposed levels
-
Storm water details
-
All existing trees, grassed areas and other landscape features on the site
-
General plant placing
-
Details of planting procedure and maintenance
LANDSCAPE PLANS FOR COMPLYING DEVELOPMENT CERTIFICATE (CDC)
Often many people will choose to submit their application to a private certifier to obtain a complying development certificate. At times, a landscape plan will be required. Generally speaking, when submitting your application through CDC, the following must be shown on your landscape plan:
-
Planting Schedule (Botanical and common names of plants)
-
Landscape area calculation
-
Private Open Space calculation
-
Permeable and non permeable areas
-
Location of fencing
Whether you need a landscape plan to submit to the developer, council or CDC, BlueGum Design can prepare a landscape plan for you which will accurately illustrate all the requirements based off the council's DCP (Development Control Plan), Design Guidelines as set out by the Design Review Committe/Panel or CDC (Exempt and Complying Development Codes 2008)
